Oberliga team in Sythen without big offspring
District class team in Haltern with promising offspring
Indoor handball as the future and a corresponding hall at the school center in Haltern
Recommendation for the merger of the then national trainer Vlado Stenzel, who had contact with the officials by chance (then 1st chairman of the regular clubs: Ernst-August Schmale and Hans Möllers)
The HSG 77 Haltern-Sythen started with the 1st team in the major league and the 2nd team in the district league. The 1st department head of the HSG was Hans Möllers. The main clubs remained TuS Haltern and TuS Sythen.
