Partille 2022

Partille 2022 - endlich wieder in Schweden!!!

We are going with all children from 10 years in 2020, so make a note of the date. More detailed information will come soon.

Partille 2019

This year we were finally able to report back since 2016 after a vacation-related forced break.

As a small delegation from the HSC, the D-Jugend for the 2018/19 season traveled to the world's largest handball tournament - to Gothenburg for the 50th Partille Cup. Even if the large entourage of our handball players could not drive this year - due to the late summer vacation - we still sent our players from the 2006 and 2007 years to hold the flags high.

Housed in a gym, the youth handball players had a lot of fun and also developed a strong ambition to make it way forward.

The opening win against the Volgograd team from Russia was followed by other strong performances, so that after four leagues in five games we moved into the A-round as second in the table.

There, after a strong performance, the Swedish team IK Sund could be beaten with 15:12. It wasn't until the round of 16 that the Japanese team Toyosato HC was technically too strong for our boys. They kept up very well until 19:17. Unfortunately, they then had to admit defeat at 22:17.

A very strong performance by the young handball players.

But also outside of the handball field, some were undertaken, such as a visit to the Liesebergpark or a joint pizza party at the end.

Also there were:

Paul Duwenbeck

Henri Huthoff

Jarne Blum

Julian Braun

Hendrik Bielert

Jakob Buschkamp

Oskar Strübbe

Partille until 2016

After a year without the HSC at the PartilleCup, we will be on our way to Sweden again next year! All youth coaches were written to by the organization team and asked to forward the registration forms and initial information to their players and to group those interested into teams. This makes the work of the organization team a lot easier and we can concentrate on the many other tasks.

You can find brochures from the PartilleCup in the foyer today. Especially the "newbies" will certainly find interesting additional information directly from the source, the organizers of the PartilleCup.

Please do not wait too long to register, as we would like to know the approximate number of participants and the number of teams by the end of the year ...

The certificate after the 14-9 defeat

Unforgettable days for over 250 young athletes, supervisors and fans are behind us. The club trip of the HSC Haltern-Sythen was again a complete success this year!

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you once again for the financial and material support of the numerous sponsors. Without this it would not have been possible for us to give the 190 students from the various Haltern schools this wonderful event in this form ...

... back again

That was our motto at this year's PartilleCup in Gothenburg. After a smaller delegation of only 2 teams in 2011, we again served the largest non-Swedish delegation in Scandinavia this year. 16 teams, 190 young athletes, 50 coaches, 15 fans. All equipped with individually designed bright green jerseys. A widely visible exclamation mark in the world capital of youth handball for the period from July 2nd to 7th.

Now he is HSC back from the PartilleCup. With the greatest (sporting) Partille Cup success in the club's history. Girls 13 made it into the B final and were only subject to an equal opponent there. Gabi Marx's team had completed 10 games in 5 days and were consistently convincing! As a well-deserved reward, the girls experienced a unique ceremony with a run into the Valhalla Stadium, great choirs from the 75 HSC people who persevered on site and a dignified award ceremony. As a memento there was a medal for each of the finalists and a plaque for the team or club.

But the trip was not only a huge event for the most successful Halternians. All participants eagerly absorbed the impressions of the week and will certainly be busy processing them for quite some time. In addition to many unique sporting experiences such as measuring with teams from other parts of the world and the games in the pouring rain on Friday, there were of course many moments that went beyond the sport, sometimes very emotional. Be it at the opening ceremony, where our entire delegation from young to old, together with 15,000 other participants from all over the world, embraced the song “We are the world”. Where our delegation brandished 350 light sticks. Where 15,000 balloons were inflated, waved and finally thrown into the interior. Where our delegation faced a friendly "singing battle" with other nations. Or on the field, where the Indian Girls 18 team jostled to be photographed with the coach of our oldest girls. Where our head of delegation urged the referees to ensure that the head of the delegation from Bangladesh was not expelled from the field for a succinct violation of the rules and that the players and fans of both teams were able to watch as the two heads of delegation continued to watch the game arm in arm on the sidelines . Where some of our teams were praised by the opponents after the game for their tireless efforts (despite clear sporting disadvantages). Or at meals, where children from Kenya and China ate and chatted at a table.

The organization team happily looks back on an eventful week and sees in the faces of all passengers that the enormous effort of the last few months has been worth it. Since next year's tournament is in the middle of the exam dates, the HSC, as the largest delegation, will unfortunately not be able to leave for Sweden again until 2014. But then by the beginning of July at the latest it means again

"The HSC is back at the PartilleCup!"

In 2010 a "huge entourage" drove to Gothenburg. In 2011 the Partille Cup was still in the middle of school and exam time, so that only 2 teams (Boys 11 and Boys 18) made their way to Sweden. Here is a summary of the 2010 tour by Peter Piilz.

Dear Partille driver,

now we are already back home! An eventful week is behind us, we laughed a lot, sometimes cried, we won and lost.

And gained experience.

And ... gave everything!

Whether in the scorching heat or in the pouring rain. Whether on the playing field or in the disco, whether in the canteen (man, there were long queues !!!) or in the pizzeria or at famous fast food chains, whether in the hotel or in the streets of Gothenburg, whether on the beach or in the Univereum: our blue T-shirts could be found everywhere.

Several thousand photos were shot and more than 30 hours of video material were shot.

So that Peter Piilz can present the best photos and greatest moments at our final party in autumn (the exact date has not yet been set), we ask you to provide barthold.budde@t-online with as much photo and film material as possible. It is important that he receives the material as soon as possible. Anyone who has already sorted photos - great! It is more important, however, that iBarthold gets the material quickly. During the holidays there is certainly more time to deal with the creation of a film than afterwards. And now all the memories are still so wonderfully fresh.

Our sporting successes were partly unexpectedly great, partly unfortunately a bit sobering (for the individual teams). But we've all experienced and learned a lot! A bit of statistics ...:

We played against teams from 21 nations. Including countries like Egypt, Brazil, China, India and Russia.

We beat Spain (unlike our national soccer team)!

We threw 1229 goals!

We made the sixth largest delegation with 18 teams. They were just bigger
Sävehoff / Sweden (59)
Lugi / Sweden (31)
Önnereds / Sweden (22)
Kärra / Sweden (21)
Fjellhammer / Norway (19)

75 teams from Germany took part, of which we provided 24%!

We played 132 games!

We moved into the A-round with 4 teams (Boys13-1, Boys14-1, Boys15 and Girls 13), the Girlas 13 for the second time in a row (last year of course as Girls12). Here the Boys14-1 even clearly prevailed against a Swedish team in the first round and were ultimately eliminated from the eventual finalist "India National Team".

Our successes in the B round are also impressive. The Boys10 and both Boys11 teams failed in the first round, but still reached the 1/4 final. Girls 14 won twice in the B round and failed in the 1/8 final. With two wins, our Girls12 even made it to the 1/4 finals, where they lost just 4-6. Our Boys18-2 (young age group A-Youth) were able to assert themselves up to the 1/8 finals and - just like the Boys12-1 - were able to experience a victory through "Golden Goal". Unfortunately, this was denied to the Boys16 in the semifinals. The only team still playing on Sunday initially prevailed - loudly supported by the 40 persistent HSC fans - in the quarter-finals against a representative from Iceland, before they were then unluckyly eliminated in the semifinals against the eventual B-final winner through golden goal.

The bottom line is an eventful week, lots of memories and new friendships.

A big thank you to everyone involved, especially to the tireless trainers and supervisors and the many experienced passengers who always stood by the newcomers with advice and assistance!

We wish you all a nice holiday, and we are already looking forward to the graduation ceremony in autumn with the entire organization team. There is the "Partille-Chart-Show" by Peter Piilz.
